Business ethics is defined as the study of proper business policies and practices regarding corporate governance, bribery at workplace, discrimination with any employee based on race, religion, caste and other parameters and corporate social responsibility. It is not limited to just a moral code of right and wrong. It attempts to make it fathomable for the companies to work legally parallel to maintaining a competitive advantage over other businesses. Moreover, a company is expected to make a competitive return for its shareholders. Apart from this, it has many other responsiblities such as doing least harm possible to environment. It should work in ways that do not deteriorate the communities. Companies are hoped to make profit by implementing fair work practices without any sort of corruption. Many times, it has been found that people are compelled to migrate due to a certain manufacturing unit. It becomes the responsibility of comapies to provide habitat for them.
