After being banned from Twitter and other outlets, Donald Trump is all set to bounce back to social media soon, using “his own platform”. The platform will be “Big” and it will be drawing “millions of people”. It seems like the Former US President Trump will be returning in probably about two or three months.
Jason Miller, who held a senior post in both presidential campaigns of Trump stated that “The game is going to be completely redefined and its time to wait and watch to know what exactly Trump does, but it will definitely be his own platform.”
The provocative use of social media by Trump was one of the defining features of his presidency, as he drew 88 million followers to Twitter along with that he often used Twitter to slam his detractors or to announce staffing changes or major policy shifts.
But @realDonaldTrump account was permanently suspended by Twitter after he used the social media platform to encourage people to take part in the rally that transformed into the violent storming of the US capitol on 6th January.
Other major websites, such as Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, and Snapchat, have temporarily or permanently blocked Trump.
Meanwhile leaving Washington and coming back to his Mar-a-Lago resort home in Florida, the former president continued to keep a relatively low profile, largely downgraded to issuing occasional news releases. But Miller stated that Trump had always been hard at his work.
“There have been a lot of high-powered meetings at Mar-a-Lago with some of the teams that have been coming in.” and he stated that “There have been many firms.”
No other details were being provided by Miller, nor did he mention that he himself being personally involved. Despite the defeat of Trump in November by Democrat Joe Biden, he maintained to be remaining in the Republican Party and it has not ruled out a third run for president in the year 2024.
Following the bans, Donald Trump suggested creating his own social media site. He also used the account: @POTUS on Twitter to accuse tech giants of “banning free speech”. A big announcement is soon to be made while looking at the possibilities of building out his own platform shortly.
