Hero Electric: decided to train over 20,000 roadside mechanics

Hero Electric will give training to over 20,000 roadside mechanics across the country within the 3 years to handling any issue its customers might face as part of its aim to instil buyer’s confidence in those who opt to reduce both air and noise pollution from transport.
The Gurgaon-based firm sold its 53,000 two-wheelers electric bikes in FY2020 to lead the vertical, the firm is likewise aiming to set up around 20,000 charging stations inside the country in coming years to ease range anxiety issues.
It has already trained 4,000 mechanics and has also installed around 1,500 charging stations within the country until now.
Naveen Munjal (Hero Electric Managing Director) said the electric segment is set to “explode” in the country over the next 3 years and so the company is on track to improve its competencies across numerous business verticals.
Naveen Munjal said “six hundred dealers joined the firm and sub-dealers across the country today. We are focusing on a multi-layered approach. We have dealers and sub-dealers in the periphery areas to satisfy the demand of the customer’s issues,”.
“Company 2021 aims to reach 1,000,00 units. Currently firm stands at 8,500 units a month so now we are continuing our growth and development as well. It is a bare minimum that we aim to achieve this year,” Munjal said.
The company placed a plant in Ludhiana a large 1,00,000 unit-per-annum capacity plant. Hero Electric is working to establish a strong network, partnerships, and B2B clients to deal with EVs, it will provide a benefit to the firm, the main focus is to increase their electric two-wheeler sales.
