The 12th edition of Cricket World Cup begins on May 30th, 2019, with a match between the host England playing against the team of South Africa. The matches will take place in venues distributed across England and Wales.The opening match will be played at The Oval stadium in London on May 30th.
The World Cup will run from May 30th to July 14th, and each team will play nine matches during group stage. The top four teams will then progress to the semifinals. The 1983 and 2011 World Cup champions, India, will play its first match on June 5th against South Africa at Rose Bowl, Southampton (15:00 IST).
On June 9th, an India versus Australia will take place The Oval (15:00 IST) in England. India will then compete against New Zealand on 13th of June at Trent Bridge (15:00 IST).
India will face off against its archrival Pakistan at the Old Trafford stadium on June 16th (15:00 IST).
On June 22nd, India will play against Afghanistan at Rose Bowl in Southampton (15:00 IST).
India’s next match will be against West Indies on June 27th at Old Trafford (15:00 IST).
England versus India will take place on June 30th at Edgbaston (15:00 IST).
India’s next match will be against Bangladesh on July 2nd at Edgbaston (15:00 IST).
India’s last match in the group stage will be on July 6th against Sri Lanka at Headingley (15:00 IST). India’s match with Pakistan on June 16th will be much awaited by both the nations.
On July 9th, the first semi-final will take place between the teams ranking 1st and 4th at Old Trafford (15:00 IST).
The second semi-final will be taking place on July 11th between the 2nd and 3rd teams at Edgbaston (15:00 IST). On July 14, the Final match will take place at Lord’s (15:00 IST) in London, England.
