A new corporate logo as well as the global brand slogan has been unveiled by Kia Motors. It is claimed by the automaker that the introduction to the new logo is represented as its aim towards establishing a leadership position In the future mobility industry by restoring nearly all aspects of its business.
As per Kia Motors, the new logo represents its new brand purpose as well as the values, it assures to offer customers through future products and services. The new logo bears a resemblance to a handwritten signature and its unbroken line expresses the commitment of the company towards bringing moments of inspiration.
The President and CEO of Kia Motors, Ho Sung Song stated that “the new logo of Kia symbolizes the commitment of the company in becoming an icon for change and innovation.”
He further added that “A period of rapid innovation is being experienced by the automotive industry, and Kia is proactively shaping up and adapting itself to these changes. The new logo of Kia Motors is representing the desire of the company to inspire customers as their mobility is in need to evolve, and for the employees of the company is to rise to the challenges that are faced in a fast-changing industry.”
A new global brand slogan is also revealed by Kia Motors, which is “Movement that Inspires”. On January, a new brand purpose and strategy will be announced by the company.
The unveiling of the new logo follows the announcement of the long-term business strategy of Kia’s ‘Plan S’ in 2020. Under Plan S, one of the automaker’s priorities is to take a leading role in the global automotive industry, concentrating on the popularisation of electric vehicles and the launch of a wide range of mobility services.
