The Institute has twenty four full-time efficient faculty members and four resource persons, out of them, seven are doctorate and seven are pursuing PhD. It is a research oriented educational Institute. It adopts project based learning and believes in developing their students through Research Oriented Projects. Its alumni have achieved laurels in their field of expertise. They play a pivotal role in the knowledge enhancement of the Institute, and enhance the quality of industry-institute engagements. SFIMAR is stringent about discipline in the Institute, and its objective is to offer humanitarian services to mankind. It provides a green and clean environment to students equipped with the latest infrastructural facilities.
SFIMAR provides four post graduate programs – Masters of Management Studies (MMS), Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), Masters of Financial Management (MFM) and Masters of Marketing Management (MMM). The process of teaching and learning comprises of interactive classroom lectures, discussions, case studies, projects, assignments, presentations, guest lectures, role plays, treasure hunts, Field visits and Field projects. Each student must spend maximum time on self-study and come thoroughly prepared for classes wherein the faculty members act as guides and facilitators. Additionally, the teaching and learning process inculcates leadership and teamwork.
The courses conducted at SFIMAR campus are in a state-of-the-art infrastructure environment with air conditioned classrooms, computer labs, conference halls, library and other amenities. The campus offers hostel facility to out station students. Additionally, it renders a full-fledged canteen service.
Every Class Room and Students Lab is equipped with the latest configuration machines, software, Network Services, mounted LCD Projectors, Hi-Tech Quality Sound Systems and Lab Surveillance System. The entire campus is WIFI enabled. Webinar Sessions are arranged and held regularly for students on different management subjects. Availability of approx. 300 Computers exclusively for students, are installed in different Labs for Class Work, Assignment and Project Activities. Campus ERP System is provided with Login to students, parents, faculty and other staff members. Library consists of 9284 titles and 14019 volumes apart from various e-journals and databases.
The campus ensures hundred percent placement of students.
The foundation of the Institute is based on the charitable value structure. At SFIMR, apart from the academics, they conduct activities like regular thought leadership group discussions, performing arts, lifelong extension programs, social responsibility initiatives, life skill training, etc., also. These activities collectively put together to ensure a holistic development and realistic transformation in student’s personality. SFIMAR also participated in a Rio+24 IDRC India Program 2018.
Rio+24 IDRC International Certification Program is a short-term co-curricular course study for students. The theme of the program was War and Peace. It was in synergy with the principles of United Nations General Assembly Resolution 67/104 & 68/237. A total of sixty eight students participated in the program, led by the student Ms. Apurva Gimonkar under the incredible guidance of a senior faculty member Dr. Natika Poddar. SFIMAR was awarded with a certificate for the contribution extended. All the participants and the coordinators have also received a certificate of appreciation.
To ensure the unbreakable faith of students over the Institute, they impart education to the students with the intention to knit trust amongst them, which consequently builds belief in the Institution.

Interaction with eminent personalities in their respective fields is a continuous activity at the Institute. UNFURLING THE FLAG OF ACHIEVEMENTS
In the latest Best B School survey carried out by Business Today, SFIMAR has been categorized under the top 10 B-Schools in Mumbai jurisdiction. The Institute is also NAAC ‘A’ grade accredited, ISO 9001-2015 Certified, recognized by DTE and affiliated to University of Mumbai. SFIMAR was awarded as the ‘Most Upcoming B-Schools’ by ASSOCHAM in the year 2017 and accredited by the ‘BCCI Office Safety’ award of the year 2018. The Institute is documenting for applying for NBA certification. Plans for application for autonomous status is also in line. The Institute is also planning to expand its wings to take up online certification programs in the coming years.
It has also signed MOU with Binary University, Malaysia for various collaborative and exchange programs. Institute also runs the collaborative programs with Ottawa University.
The future plan is to acquire a complete autonomous status, academically, financially and administratively.
