TravelUR appoints SAP Executive Srinivas Rapthadu to its advisory board
Technology leader, Mr. Srinivas Rapthadu to advise the travel social network on go-to-market strategy and product roadmap
1st May 2018, New Delhi: India’s first travel social network, Travelur.com, has named Mr. Srinivas Rapthadu an alumnus of Wharton School of Business and a Technology Leader at SAP to its advisory board. The move is a part of TravelUR’s plan to enhance the platform with AI, Cognitive Computing and RPA and leverage his experience as technology evangelist & business leader, and his expertise in value creation through emerging technologies.
Mr. Srinivas Rapthadu currently serves as Sr. Director, Leonardo & Analytics CC, the office of the CEO at SAP. Over his 20 years of career, he held several global positions in Strategy, Business Development, Go-to-Market, Product management and Customer management and helped companies of all sizes achieve value creation through digital business transformation. In his most recent role as Fellow with SAP Private Equity Group, he led business development and strategic initiatives with private equity firms through individual and cross-portfolio value creation activities and executive workshops. His work also includes helping private equity portfolio companies and corporate acquirers leverage technology to facilitate M&A transactions and accelerate business value creation.

Founded in 2015, Sunil Konduru and Sekhar Kolla began TravelUR as a unified platform to address the challenges of traveler with easy access to travel knowledge and services while connecting them to like- minded travelers through social network features. The platform combines social engagement and travel related e-commerce services like airlines, hotels, buses, vacations and local transport.
