Mahindra & Mahindra has finally launched its much-awaited first all-electric SUV, the XUV400 in the Indian market at a starting price of INR 15.99 lakh (ex-showroom). There are two variants of the Mahindra XUV400: XUV400 EC and XUV400 EL. According to the company, the introductory prices are applicable on the first 5,000 bookings for each variant.

Bookings for the electric SUV will open on January 26. Delivery is expected to start in March. The front axle-mounted electric motor in the Mahindra XUV400 is powered by two battery packs, measuring 34.5kWh and 39.4kWh each.

This motor generates 150hp and 310Nm of torque. The XUV400, according to the manufacturer, can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.3 seconds and has a top speed of 150 km/h. The XUV400 also features three driving modes – Fun, Fast, and Fearless – that adjust the steering and throttle response along with the level of regenerative braking.

The XUV400 will be powered by a 150PS electric motor. it has enough seating space for 6 feet tall people. The Mahindra XUV400 comes in various colors such as Arctic Blue, Everest White, Galaxy Grey, Napoli Black, and Infinity Blue with dual tone option of Satin Copper.
