Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday began his positive address by appreciating the historic decision of the government. He told how people of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh were devoid of many rights that was a hindrance to their development, just because of Article 370 and 35A.

The Power of Youth
“Youth of Jammu and Kashmir will lead the development and I am sure that will energize the state’s development,” PM Modi said. He has faith in the influence of youth and uttered that the years of nepotism did not provide the youth of J&K chance to lead.
Now, they (youngsters) will take J&K to a new height. “I would urge the youth of J&K, sisters and daughters to take charge of the development of their area,” he shared.
A Push for Cinema
In order to substitute whole deep-rooted political class in J&K with a new age band of fresher politicians, from home-grown groups to assembly, Modi has released a new entrepreneurial break. Film making might be one of the main epicenters in producing jobs in the state.
PM Modi insisted Bollywood, Telugu and Tamil film industry to shoot movies in Jammu & Kashmir and to establish new theatres throughout the state. “There was a time when Kashmir was the favorite destination of Bollywood filmmakers, I am confident that in future, even international films will be shot there,” he said.
Rights for Employees
J&K was devoid of all the privileges that people in other states enjoyed, comprising the rights for workers. PM reiterated that the police and other state government personnel in J&K will get facilities equivalent to those of other states. Employees were previously deprived of privileges to a minimum remuneration owing to Article 370. Now, the government will implement rules to stop outrages against workforces.
The government will also deliver occupation prospects by employing specialists in the state branches. “All vacant posts in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh will be filled, creating employment opportunities,” he said.
“Over 1.5 crore people of J&K were being denied benefits of legislations meant for the entire country,” said Modi while addressing the nation. Ever since the government of J&K fell apart, the state has been functioning under the governor’s rule. While asserting that the government will in the future embrace state assembly elections in J&K, Modi talked about how the situation of the state has enhanced as it came under the principal supervision.
Modi guaranteed the people of J&K, “Your representative will be elected by you and from among you. We have tried to bring a new work culture, transparency in Jammu and Kashmir administration.” He confirmed that while J&K will adore the aids similar to other states, Ladakh will turn into a Union Territory.
