Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a crowd of 50 thousand people today at NRG Stadium in Houston, USA. Texas, the state in the USA is going to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit as a remarked duo with Donald Trump. It regarded as a ‘ historic event’ that was reportedly attended by over 50,000 people.
While Modi took the center-stage and spoke on a range of issues from Article 370 for Jammu and Kashmir matter, he also endorses Donald Trump with ‘Abki Baar, Trump ki Sarkar’. The US president also spoke about his close friend relations with Modi. In this ‘Howdy Modi’ event, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had to address a crowd of almost 50 thousand people today at NRG Stadium in Houston, USA.
Modi said that President Trump told him during their first meeting that India has a “true friend” in the White House. It is an honor for both countries to be called best friends and the US leader’s presence at the event is proof of that. PM also said he admired Trump’s “sense of leadership” as the best President and it is taking ties between the two nations to a new level of tranquility.
Why Houston event is important?
However, this event is cordially considered important for both Indians and Americans.
The ‘Howdy Modi’ program is taking place in Houston, a city in Texas. A large number of Americans of Indian origin live here. Dallas is also a major place in Texas in addition to Houston. Both places are included in the top 10 cities where the number of Indian-American people is high.
Modi announced a $20 billion tax-cut stimulus for companies, to strengthening his pitch for American chief executives about the ease of doing business in India.
The US, on the other hand, said that India’s trade relations have been fraught and high, with Trump repeatedly saying about India’s high tariff rates, for example, a 50 percent tariff on Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
