Gurgram-based tech-innovative firm Hapramp won a big boon, after the chairman of Mahindra Group, Mr. Anand Mahindra showered $ 1 Million in funding over them. Hapramp is a tech-innovative startup established by five genius of Indian Institute of Information Technology-Vadodara and works on technologies like Blockchain and Social Media.
Mahindra announced a funding opportunity via Twitter in 2018, for a Startup that can be the face of Next-Gen establishments in India. He further asked his ex-executive at Mahindra, Mr. Jaspreet Bindra to help him in seeking this next-gen Social networking entrepreneurship in India. After shaking hands with Hapramp, Mr. Mahindra Tweeted on Wednesday “Took 2 years, but I finally found the start-up I was looking for! @Hapramp is indigenous, built by 5 young founders & brings together a best-in-class combination of creativity, technology & data protection. Look out for @gosocial_app their social networking platform”.
In addition to its flagship Social Networking Platform, GoSocial, Hapramp has devised 1Ramp.io, a social media platform powered by Steem Blockchain, and Asteria Protocol – A platform emphasizing on privately and securely treating public data. Looking at their business framework Mr. Bindra comments “The Hapramp team is building a Web 3.0 social network. It is built on emerging digital technologies, has a solid business model which rewards content creators, protects personal data, and best of all, is built here locally in India. Mr. Bindra has been signed as executive Advisor and Mentor to the Hapramp founding team.
The company’s flagship, GoSocial allows its users to explore creative domains of photography and art, by competing challenges created by experts and. The app has already acquired 50,000 users in less than three months. Hapramp is currently working on building a stronger user base and monetize the efforts put forth by content creators. “We are targeting one lakh users in the next three months and 10 lakh by the end of the year in India. We also plan to take the platform to South-East Asian countries, around October”, concludes Mr. Shubhendra Vikram, Hapramp co-founder and Chief Executive Officer.
