The proposed tasks embody the manufacturing of photovoltaic cells and modules, air compressors, ductile iron foundry, industrial parks, cashew nut processing, information center, and a foundry growth challenge.
The MoUs will herald investments within the areas of photovoltaic cells and modules manufacturing, agrotech and iron foundry, amongst others.
The memoranda of understanding have been signed within the presence of chief minister Ok Palaniswami. Of the eight MoUs, 5 have been signed within the presence of the CM, whereas three have been achieved via video conferencing.
“The tasks will probably be carried out in Kancheepuram, Chengalpattu, Ranipettai, Coimbatore, Viluppuram and Erode districts,” the discharge stated.
