Incorporated in 2020, BikeDost is a chain of smart, multi-branded, two-wheeler service centres. Under its franchisee model, the team helps applicants through the entire model and guides them on how this industry works, what is covered in two-wheeler servicing, how to handle customer excitement and experience, and all the nitty-gritty of the business.

So they can efficiently manage their two-wheeler service setup. Additionally, the company operates a digital workshop where all the operations of the workshop run digitally and also provides digital tools to the franchisee. Dhaval says he inherited his success formula and winning tactics in twowheelers from his father. In 1992, his father Mr Chetan Sheth started this business with an Authorised Hero dealership, in Mumbai. For childhood, Dhaval has had the practice of coming to the office, sitting with mechanics, discussing with the advisors who meet the customers, going to the sales department, and looking at the product, so he had that automobile inclination from day one inside.

Dhaval’s parents have been his primary source of motivation and guidance. Further, his wife, Manali Sheth, has been helping him throughout his journey. His family is his backbone throughout. Dhaval fully focuses on business numbers and business metrics; his wife manages most of the other tasks like accounts and admin. Additionally, Dhaval finds great happiness and peace by talking with his five-year-old son Kiyansh about the day-to-day activities at BikeDost.

Dhaval believes in the vision matrix; he focuses on designing his vision and keeps his team fully aligned with it. Sharing his insights on leadership, he says, “Give them strategies, let them use their brains, and how they implement them on the ground. Trust your team, give them the freedom and flexibility, and keep on reviewing things. It will help you to understand where you are heading. Be a quick decision-maker, if some things go wrong, you have to make very fast decisions.”

BikeDost is the only brand in the two-wheeler industry that has achieved 75 franchises in the first three years. Its entire franchisee model is just 5 lakh rupees, including GST, which creates a distinctive edge in the market. Further, BikeDost is the first brand to bring its engine oil and an entire range of Spare Parts. It further introduced its range of fork oil, brake oil, gear oil and an entire range of value added Service Products that are used in a two-wheeler.

A Bright Future Ahead

BikeDost has become a notable market player, holding 5,000 franchisees nationwide. It has every component used in a two-wheeler, plus safety features, an extended warranty, and a roadside support service.

Looking ahead, the company plans to launch its electric bike in the next two to three years. It will also bring secondhand bikes in the process. There will be a complete ecosystem for two wheelers. Everything related to two-wheelers will be available in that particular store, and the franchisee will have multiple revenue models to earn a good profit from their store.

BikeDost has initiated extensive online marketing efforts using Meta tools to assist and support its franchisees in growing their businesses. The company also actively encourages franchisees to participate in rigorous offline, on-ground activities to boost revenues and improve reporting at franchise locations. This includes conducting regular review calls with franchise partners nationwide.
