Box office expected for Tere Ishk Mein: After Saiyaara, the Dhanush and Kriti Sanon film will have the second-largest opening for a romance picture this year.
It appears that the Hindi film industry is making a comeback with love movies in theaters in 2025. This year, romance films are making money at the box office once more after a downturn brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. At least for its first weekend of release, Aanand L. Rai’s Tere Ishk Mein seemed certain to follow suit. The Dhanush and Kriti Sanon film is expected to do well at the ticket window on its debut weekend, based on advance booking reports and local hype.
Tere Ishk Mein booking collections in advance
Tere Ishk Mein had sold over 1.3 lakh tickets for its opening day in advance, according to trade sources, by 4 p.m. on Thursday, the eve of the movie’s release. This translates to a gross collection of little more than ₹3 crore. Over the rest of the day, the movie is anticipated to gather up speed and finish with pre-sales of at least ₹4 crore. This is true even if the average ticket price for Tere Ishk Mein is lower than that of some of the other major Bollywood films this year.
Tere Ishk Mein box office prediction
According to trade insiders, Tere Ishk Mein is off to a great start at the box office based on the excellent advance booking patterns. According to conservative projections, the movie might make over ₹12 crore in all languages and about ₹10 crore net in Hindi alone on its first day. According to some trade analysts, the amount is at least ₹12 crore for Hindi and more than ₹15 crore for all languages. This could indicate that Tere Ishk Mein’s opening weekend earnings in India could be between ₹40 and 50 crore net across all languages. That would be the second-best romantic movie opening weekend of the year, only surpassed by the success of Saiyaara.
If all goes according to plan, Dhanush’s Bollywood career will get its biggest start with Tere Ishk Mein. The actor starred in Aanand L Rai’s earlier theatrical production, Raanjhana, which debuted at ₹5.60 crore net in 2011. That will be easy for Tere Ishk Mein to go over. Additionally, the movie should be able to surpass several major 2025 films like Sitaare Zameen Par (₹10.70 crore) and Jolly LLB 3 (₹12 crore).
