Both firstgeneration lawyers, they built their foundation through extensive training: Parth under A. J. Vyas, Nilesh Pandya at the Gujarat High Court, and Sr Adv. Jal S. Unwala after graduating from GNLU from 2017 to 2019. They later worked together at Ortis Law Offices for a year. While, Vineet Sheth initially read the law in the Chamber of Justice (Retd.) C. K. Thakkar, Supreme Court of India and later, worked with Sr Adv. Manish R. Bhatt and thereafter, with the Dispute Resolution Team of Wadia Ghandy & Co.
What began as a litigation practice has grown into a full-service dispute resolution firm spanning civil, criminal, corporate and commercial, banking, arbitration, consumer disputes, employment, land and IP matters, driven by a philosophy of building trust.
Client-Centric, Multidisciplinary and Built from Scratch
S & P Law Chambers stands out not because of the wide range of laws it practices in, but because of its solution-orientated approach. As first-generation lawyers, the Partners built their identity through hard work and perseverance. The firm engages in direct, one-to-one client interaction to understand the legal issue, the practical objective, as well as the end goal or the relief which the client requires.
While rooted in litigation and dispute resolution, its multidisciplinary practice spans civil, criminal, corporate, banking, arbitration, consumer, employment, land and IP. The Partners regularly appear before the Gujarat High Court and forums including NCLT, DRT, MSEFC, Consumer Forums and RERA tribunals, serving clients across Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Gandhinagar, Kheda, Kalol, Kadi, Rajkot, Jamnagar, and nearby regions.
Staying Ahead of Legal Change
In the legal profession, staying updated is a professional responsibility, as evolving laws, regulations and judicial interpretations can significantly impact clients. It tracks new legislations, amendments, notifications, circulars and major judgments through court proceedings and subscriptions to legal platforms, journals, newsletters, as well as magazines. Internally, the firm conducts weekly discussions to analyse developments from multiple perspectives and assess their applicability to pending matters. Here, the focus is not just on finding a change but on understanding its practical outcome for clients across the diverse practices.
Across-Sector, Full-Service Practice
S & P Law Chambers is not confined to one particular industry; its practice spans civil, criminal, corporate, arbitration, family, employment, intellectual property, RERA, consumer, banking, MSME, revenue and constitutional matters. It frequently works with manufacturing and pharmaceutical businesses on corporate law and commercial dispute resolution, along with individual matters in family, civil, and criminal law. Serving corporates, MSMEs, property and real estate stakeholders, employers and employees, financial and banking stakeholders, entrepreneurs, and individuals, the firm adopts a multidisciplinary approach to address overlapping legal requirements.
Leveraging Technology and Research Tools
S & P Law Chambers views technology as an enabler of legal practice, not a substitute for legal judgement. The firm uses legal research platforms, digital tools and AI to a limited extent to reduce time on repetitive administrative tasks and in order improve efficiency in research and organisation. However, we are a firm believer that AI cannot replace human analysis, strategic thinking and understanding of client circumstances. All technology-assisted results are verified and placed in proper legal context. Its philosophy is to let technology accelerate the process, while lawyers drive the thinking, ensuring subscribed research supports deeper analysis and stronger client service.
Innovation as Smart Application of Law
Innovation in the legal profession does not mean reinventing law but finding better ways of applying it. It continuously improves processes, enhances research comprehensiveness and leverages technology to deliver more effective client solutions.
It combines subscribed legal research tools with independent critical analysis, testing authorities against evolving jurisprudence instead of mechanically relying on results. Through continuous learning and weekly internal knowledgesharing, the firm ensures developments are collectively understood and applied, building a practice ready to adapt to change and turn it into client advantage.
Confidentiality as the Cornerstone of Client Trust
Confidentiality is taken as the foundation of client trust at S & P Law Chambers. Its approach is practical, not just procedural, reflected in how matters are discussed, documents handled, and technology used. Its broad practice involving personal, financial, corporate and litigation-sensitive information ensures access is limited to those who need it professionally.
Junior advocates and interns are trained that confidentiality extends to conversations, correspondence, and strategy. While leveraging technology for efficiency, the firm exercises professional judgement to ensure convenience never compromises security, nurturing an environment where clients can share the complete truth without hesitation.
A Commitment to Community, Mentorship, and Sustainable Practice
At S & P Law Chambers, the team believes their responsibility extends beyond client matters to the community. For them, sustainability and corporate social responsibility mean using knowledge, time and professional experience to create a lasting, positive impact. Their approach begins with supporting the next generation of lawyers by providing junior advocates and interns with meaningful experience.
Their commitment also includes taking up pro bono cases, especially in matrimonial, labour and services disputes, to help people navigate difficult circumstances and understand their rights. For them, CSR is reflected in taking up a matter because it is the right thing to do.
The Future Roadmap
S & P Law Chambers’ futuristic vision is to evolve from a strong litigation foundation and establish a Pan-India presence, offering complete legal solutions beyond dispute resolution to include transactions and M&A. Its leadership concept is based on trust, accessibility and quality outcomes, and not just size. While expanding geographically and across service lines, it aims to retain its personal, client-orientated approach and stay as a one-stop legal destination.
Words of Wisdom
The Partners at S & P Law Chambers state there is no substitute for hard work, perseverance and the willingness to keep learning. They advise young professionals not to measure their journey against someone else’s starting point, learn from seniors, respect the institution of the law, and understand that the practice teaches application of law.
They add that technical knowledge alone is not enough; understanding clients, listening, and practical thinking are important. See setbacks as opportunities to return better prepared and build a reputation on trust and honesty.
