The Gaang is back in the teaser trailer for Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 2 that Netflix released.
Earthbender, Toph (Miya Cech), the newest member of Team Avatar, which also includes Aang (Gordon Cormier), Katara (Kiawentiio), Sokka (Ian Ousley), and more, are all featured in the 2026 premiere of the adored series!
Dallas Liu, Elizabeth Yu, Momona Tamada, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, Maria Zhang, and Daniel Dae Kim are among the other cast members.
Aang, the youthful Avatar, is followed in Avatar: The Last Airbender as he learns to control the four elements—Water, Earth, Fire, and Air—in order to bring harmony back to a world under attack from the frightening Fire Nation.
In the second season, Katara and Sokka reassemble and embark on a journey to persuade the elusive Earth King to assist them in their fight against the formidable Fire Lord Ozai, following a bittersweet victory that saved the Northern Water Tribe from the invading Fire Nation, Avatar Aang.
Netflix renewed the series for two seasons, which were filmed consecutively, after the first season’s success. Both seasons are currently in post-production after Season 3 filming concluded.
Christine Boylan, an executive producer and writer, told Tudum, “When we started working on Season 2, we gathered three forces: integrity, hope, and joy.”
And now, over three years later, we are winding up production with a highly skilled and committed workforce that both reached and beyond those goals. Being a member of this significant, hilarious, action-packed crew that is bringing this huge live action drama to the world makes me eternally thankful.
Christine Boylan, Jabbar Raisani, Dan Lin, Ryan Halprin, Brendan Ferguson, and Albert Kim are among the executive producers of Avatar: The Last Airbender.
