Rajinikanth’s Coolie Hits OTT Screens—Streaming in 4 Regional Languages
Prior to its theatrical debut, Coolie created a lot of attention because it was the first time director Lokesh Kanagaraj and superstar Rajinikanth had worked together. Stars like Nagarjuna, Aamir Khan, Soubin Shahir, Upendra, and Sathyaraj increased the excitement and attention it received.
The film received mixed reviews from viewers when it was released on August 14, 2025, together with Hrithik Roshan—Jr. NTR’s War 2. After 25 days in theaters, the movie is now available on Amazon Prime Video. Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam are the four South Indian languages in which it is available for streaming.
The Hindi version will launch following the 8-week theatrical-to-OTT timeframe, however it is not yet accessible. Apart from that, it’s unclear how the movie will be received by OTT viewers.
Shruti Haasan, Rachita Ram, Kanna Ravi, Maaran, Pooja Hegde (in the Monica song), Reba Monica John, and more actors are included in the film. Anirudh Ravichander wrote the soundtrack for this blockbuster, which Sun Pictures supported.
