Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat Day 1 Collection: Romantic Drama Rakes in ₹8.5 Crore at Box Office
The October 21 release of Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat had a mediocre start at the box office. Industry trade reports state that the film starring Harshvardhan Rane made Rs 8.50 crore on its first day of release.
The movie had a 39.51% total Hindi occupancy rate in theaters on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.
Starting at 19.76% for the morning performances, the Day 1 Hindi (2D) occupancy grew gradually throughout the day, reaching 46.34% in the afternoon, reaching a peak of 47.16% in the evening, and remaining steady at 44.76% for the night shows. The cities with the largest ticket sales for this love drama were Bengaluru (58.75%), Chennai and Lucknow (56%), Mumbai (37%), and the National Capital Region (45%).
This release marks the biggest opening in Harshvardhan Rane’s career to date. However, the film was seriously threatened by the release of Thamma, a supernatural drama starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, on the same day.
However, the Diwali festive surge is expected to improve its box office performance and revenues.
Sonam Bajwa plays Adaa Randhawa, Shaad Randhawa plays Sanjay, Sachin Khedekar plays Adaa’s father, and Harshvardhan Rane plays Vikramaditya.”
‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’ is a cinematic ride of unrestrained emotion, indulgent romance, and pulsating drama,” according to a review in Business Connect Magazine. It is a spectacle designed for viewers who enjoy intensity, flaming fight scenes, and music that lasts long after the credits have rolled. It is not a nuanced love tale. The film is watchable because to its intensity, powerful main performances, and eye-catching graphics, even though some of the story twists are implausible and the second half drags at times. Despite being made for a broad audience, this picture offers a daring, unrepentant, and sometimes extravagant romance that will resonate with audiences who follow a tale of passion gone haywire.
