October 8, 2025: On Wednesday, the price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan went up by Rs8,400 to Rs425,178 per tola.

Similarly, the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) provided rates showing that 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs364,521 after a gain of Rs7,202.
At Rs334,156 per 10-gram, the price of 22-karat gold was likewise reported higher.
In a similar vein, 24-karat silver sold for Rs4,984 per tola (+Rs55) and Rs4,272 every 10-gram (+Rs47) on the local market.

Globally, spot gold was up $42.9 or 1.07% from the previous session, trading close to $4,037 an ounce.
In the face of continuing inflation, escalating geopolitical tensions, and a declining U.S. currency, investors flocked to gold on Tuesday, pushing prices above $4,000 per ounce for the first time.
