“We appreciate the assistance of taxpayers and tax experts in helping us achieve the milestone of 6 crore Income Tax Returns (ITRs) to date and counting. To minimize last-minute rush, we encourage everyone who hasn’t submitted their ITR for AY 2025–2026 to do so as soon as possible. In a post on X, the department stated, “Let’s keep up this momentum.”
