Motorola to launch its next Flagship Device with Snapdragon 888 SoC

Motorola is all set to soon come up with the launch of its next flagship device with Snapdragon 888 SoC. Based on the reports, on Twitter’s Chinese counterpart Weibo, the general manager of Lenovo, Chen Jing had teased the launch of the smartphone. Chen revealed through his post that the smartphone will be arriving with a set of interesting features. However, there is no confirmation by the company about the details of the specifications and launch date.
According to GizChina, the packaging of the Motorola phone with a Snapdragon 888 processor was shared by Chen Jing. Chen stated that the phone’s presentation will be taking place very soon and the phone will be coming up with a lot of interesting features. The list of manufacturers that would launch smartphones with Snapdragon 888 SoC was shared by Qualcomm Snapdragon and one of them in the list was Motorola.
The senior vice president and general manager of mobile, compute and infrastructure, Qualcomm Technologies, Alex Katouzian by announcing about the latest chipset stated that “The history of groundbreaking technology innovations by Qualcomm has helped in paving the way for our continued leadership in the mobile premium-tier market. The new flagship Snapdragon 888 Mobile Platform will be allowing OEMs to distinguish their devices further, by letting the users experience the latest advanced mobile technologies.”
Lenovo has also confirmed the launch of its smartphone with a Snapdragon 800 chipset. During the summit, the president of the company, Sergio Buniac revealed Motorola’s plans, that is coming up in the year 2021 with a flagship device. He stated that “The 10th generation of Moto G will be marked by 2021 and nothing would make us prouder than bringing this family’s 800 series experiences to [Qualcomm Snapdragon]. Our mission is to provide all with smarter technology. We can’t wait to show you more.”
As per the reports, Moto G will be launched by Motorola with the flagship processor. However, it was not clear about the Moto G, that whether it would come with an 865 processor or an 888 processor. Earlier, Moto Edge+ was unveiled by Motorola with the Snapdragon 865 chipset. Now, if the company plans to launch a Snapdragon 888 chipset smartphone, it will offer substantial changes compared to its predecessors.
According to the reports by TechnikNews, Motorola could soon introduce a device that has been nicknamed “Nio”. It was suggested by another report that the phone will be coming up with an unusual refresh rate of 105Hz. There was a revealation about the Nio, that it could be powered by the powerful Snapdragon 865 SoC, which is combined with up to 12GB of RAM. Android 11, which would also make it the first Motorola phone to run on the new Android 11, will run on the stock.
