Paresh Rawal has finally confirmed his comeback to the series, weeks after announcing his resignation from the upcoming Hera Pheri 3. Paresh also discussed the film’s controversies in an interview with Himanshu Mehta for his podcast. He also gave Suniel Shetty, Priyadarshan, and Akshay Kumar appreciation.
Return to Hera Pheri 3 confirmed by Paresh
Paresh said that they had been working together on the movie before as well when asked whether everything was going well now and if fans will see the three of them in it. “Pehle bhi aane hi waali thi” (the movie was supposed to come out earlier also), but we had to polish ourselves first (laughs). After all, whether it’s Suniel, Akshay, or Priyadarshan, they’re all creative. They had been pals for a very long time.
Concerning Paresh’s departure from Hera Pheri 3
For more than 20 years, people all over the world have adored the original Hera Pheri trio: Raju (Akshay), Shyam (Suniel Shetty), and Baburao Ganpatrao Apte, also known as Babu Bhaiya (Paresh). Fans were startled and saddened when Paresh abruptly departed the planned movie early this year.
Akshay, who is also a producer on Hera Pheri 3, had sued Paresh when he left the movie. According to a previous Bollywood Hungama story, he refunded the signing fee with 15% interest after leaving the movie.
The franchise of Paresh and Hera Pheri
In the Hera Pheri franchise, Paresh played Baburao Ganpatrao Apte. While Phir Hera Pheri debuted in theaters in 2006, Hera Pheri debuted in theaters in 2000. Priyadarshan, who is also involved in the third installment, directed the first movie.
Akshay, Suniel, Tabu, Om Puri, and Gulshan Grover were also featured in Hera Pheri (2000). Bipasha Basu, Rimi Sen, Sharat Saxena, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, and Manoj Joshi were among the actors that starred in the late Neeraj Vora’s film Phir Hera Pheri.
