According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film earned ₹7.8 crore net in India by 8:15 AM on September 25. The Sujeeth-directed movie has emerged as Pawan Kalyan’s biggest opener, even before its official release, thanks to strong advance booking numbers.
For context, Pawan Kalyan’s earlier blockbuster ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’ had collected ₹67 crore globally on its opening day. The advance booking figures for September 24 indicated that They Call Him OG had already raked in around ₹75 crore worldwide, with ₹45 crore coming from the domestic market.

Plot Overview
The film follows gangster Ojas Gambheera, who returns to Mumbai after ten years, determined to eliminate rival crime boss Omi Bhau.
Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi makes his Telugu film debut, playing the menacing antagonist. Produced by DVV Entertainment, the movie also features Priyanka Mohan, Arjun Das, Sriya Reddy, and Prakash Raj in key roles alongside Pawan Kalyan.
