19th instalment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna: Efficiently updating mobile number linked to Aadhar account

Beneficiaries are waiting for the 19th instalment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna under which rupees 6000 is deposited annually in three equal instalment peasants Aadhar seeded bank account through direct benefit transfer mode.

 For availing this facility, peasants must have an active mobile number linked to their Aadhar account that they can complete their OTP based eKYC. It is quite crucial to update the mobile number on the website so that you can receive the regular updates about instalments.

 Understanding Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna

 The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna was introduced in February 2019 which aims to fulfil the financial requirement of landholding farmers across the country. The 18th instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna was released on 5th October 2024 for its beneficiaries by Pradhan Mantri Narendra Modi. 

Now they can update the mobile number linked to their account by visiting the portal where they can update their number in easy way.

How to update number on PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna 

1. Visit PM Kisan website.
2. Click on update mobile number option.
3.  Enter your registered number or aadhar number and fill the captcha code.
4. Click on the search option. Then edit the desired information.

OTP based e-KYC

As per the PM Kisan website, E KYC is mandatory for the registered farmers on the portal. They can now avail the facility of OTP based e-KYC on the portal or by visiting the nearest CSC centres which may be contacted for biometric based e- KYC. 

The OTP based electronic KYC can be completed by following the given steps-

1. Visit the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi portal
2.  Click on the electronic KYC option present on the top right corner of the website
3.  Enter your aadhar number and complete your electronic KYC after submitting OTP. Once your KYC is done then the beneficiary status will be reflected on the website after 24 hours.

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna instalments are distributed three times in every quarter each year. It can the 19th instalment of this yojana can be expected around February 2025. The government will notify for the same on its website closer to the date of release of the next instalment.

 The beneficiary status of farmers can be checked by using following steps: – 

1. Visit the official website of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna 
2. Go to the beneficiary status page and click on beneficiary status
3.  Enter your Aadhar number or account number and then click on get data
4.  View your beneficiary status and check for payment status as well

the beneficiary status of the farmer can be displayed on the screen then the system processes your request and checks the database available on the portal for your details.
