PM Kisan Samman Nidhi: PM Modi to Transfer ₹2000 Soon, Muzaffarpur Preparations Complete

PM Kisan 2026 Installment: The 22nd installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme will be released today at 5 PM. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will transfer more than ₹18,640 crore directly into the bank accounts of over 9.32 crore farmers across the country. In Bihar, around 73.34 lakh farmers will receive the benefit, while about 3.71 lakh farmers in Muzaffarpur will get ₹2,000 each under the scheme.

PM Kisan Scheme India: The 22nd installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme, which provides financial assistance to millions of farmers across the country, will be released today (Friday) at 5 PM.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will transfer ₹2,000 each directly into the bank accounts of eligible farmers. Farmers now have to wait only a few more hours for the installment to be credited.

According to information provided by the Central Government, more than ₹18,640 crore will be transferred to the bank accounts of over 9.32 crore farmers across India through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system under this installment.

In Bihar, around 73.34 lakh farmer families will benefit from this payment. Meanwhile, approximately 3.71 lakh farmers in Muzaffarpur district will also receive ₹2,000 each directly in their bank accounts.

Preparations for PM Kisan Utsav in Muzaffarpur

The District Agriculture Officer has directed officials in all blocks of Muzaffarpur to celebrate the occasion as PM Kisan Utsav. The Prime Minister’s program will also be broadcast live across all blocks in the district.

According to officials, the live telecast will begin at 5 PM on Friday. Instructions have been issued to block agriculture offices, agriculture coordinators, farmer advisors, and block technical managers to ensure that as many farmers as possible from their respective areas join the program.

Farmers Receive ₹6,000 Annually

Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme, small and marginal farmer families receive ₹6,000 annually as financial assistance.

The amount is transferred directly to farmers’ bank accounts in three installments of ₹2,000 each through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.

How to Check if the PM Kisan Installment Has Been Credited (PM Kisan Status Check)

1. Check Status on the PM Kisan Portal

• Visit the official website pmkisan.gov.in.

• On the homepage, click “Know Your Status” under the Farmers Corner section.

• Enter your Registration Number and Captcha Code.

• Enter the OTP and click Get Data.

• The full details of the installment will appear on the screen.

If you do not remember your registration number, you can retrieve it using “Know Your Registration Number” with your Aadhaar number or mobile number.

2. Check Status via Mobile App

The Central Government has launched the PMKISAN GoI mobile app.

• Download the app from the Google Play Store.

• Log in using your Aadhaar number or mobile number.

• Click on Beneficiary Status to view payment details.

3. Check via PFMS Portal

Since the payment is transferred through DBT, farmers can also check the status on the PFMS portal by selecting “Know Your Payment” or “DBT Status Tracker.”

What to Do If the Money Has Not Been Credited

If the payment is not visible in the account or shows “Payment Failed,” farmers should check the following:

• Whether e-KYC has been completed

• Whether the bank account is linked with Aadhaar

• Whether land records verification has been completed

After completing these steps, farmers usually receive the installment without issues in the next cycle.

How to Check Your Name in the Beneficiary List

Farmers can also check their name in the village beneficiary list online.

• Visit the PM Kisan website.

• Click Beneficiary List under Farmers Corner.

• Select State, District, Block, and Village.

• The list of beneficiaries will appear on the screen.
