Royal Enfield is charging into the electric future with its first-ever electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6, slated for a March 2026 launch. Unveiled at EICMA 2024 and recently showcased in India, this retro-styled urban cruiser blends classic design with cutting-edge technology. Inspired by the WWII-era Flying Flea, the C6 features a forged aluminium frame, a magnesium battery casing for optimal cooling, and a unique girder fork suspension, a nod to 1940s engineering.
Equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon-powered TFT touchscreen dashboard, the C6 offers Bluetooth connectivity, voice assist, navigation, and advanced safety features like cornering ABS, traction control, and five ride modes. While battery and motor specs remain under wraps, estimates suggest a range of 150-200 km, ideal for city rides with light out-of-town capability. The bike, weighing around 110 kg, is designed for agility with narrow Ceat tyres on 10-spoke alloy wheels.
Priced between ₹2.5-4.5 lakh (ex-showroom), the C6 will be produced at Royal Enfield’s new EV facility in Vallam Vadagal, Tamil Nadu, with a capacity of 1.5 lakh units annually. A scrambler-style S6 model will follow soon after. With over 200 engineers and 45 patents behind it, the Flying Flea sub-brand promises a bold, sustainable ride.
