All-New Tata Sierra 2025 Revealed: Iconic SUV Returns with Futuristic Design, Premium Cabin, and Powerful Engines
Tata Motors has officially unveiled the all-new Tata Sierra 2025, reviving one of India’s most iconic SUVs from the 1990s. The SUV will make its full debut on November 25, 2025, marking the return of a legendary nameplate — now reimagined for the modern era.
Design and Exterior
The new Sierra retains the upright and rugged stance that made the original a classic, but with a sleek and futuristic twist. The front fascia features a full-width LED light bar connecting slim headlamps, a darkened grille with the Sierra badge, and a bold silver skid plate for an assertive SUV look.
From the side, the Sierra moves to a five-door configuration, unlike the original’s three-door setup. It sports flush door handles, large windows, and black cladding around the wheel arches, paired with 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Tata has also retained a nostalgic nod to the classic Sierra’s signature rear window styling, with a contrasting black roof and C-pillar finish.
At the rear, the SUV gets a connected LED taillight bar, roof spoiler, and dual-tone sculpted bumper, creating a balanced and premium rear profile.
Interior and Features
Inside, the Sierra 2025 showcases one of Tata’s most high-tech interiors yet. The dashboard is dominated by three 12.3-inch digital displays — one each for the driver, infotainment system, and passenger. The centre console follows the latest Tata design theme, featuring a rotary gear selector, electronic parking brake, and wireless charging pad.
Other expected features include:
Ventilated front seats
Dual-zone climate control
Panoramic sunroof
Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
The cabin promises a balance of sophistication and technology, designed to rival premium mid-size SUVs.
Engine and Powertrain Options
Under the hood, the Tata Sierra 2025 will offer both petrol and diesel options:
1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine: 160 bhp and 280 Nm
2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine: 170 PS and 350 Nm
Both engines will be paired with manual and automatic transmissions.
Tata is also preparing an electric version of the Sierra, expected to deliver a range of 450–500 km on a single charge — positioning it as one of the most capable EV SUVs in its segment.
Final Word
The 2025 Tata Sierra blends nostalgia with innovation, offering a modern interpretation of an Indian classic. With its bold design, feature-rich interior, and versatile powertrain lineup, it is set to become one of the most anticipated SUV launches of the coming year.
