The first teaser video for Srikanth Odela’s “The Paradise” features Nani in an unprecedented scene. After the 2023 Telugu action movie Dasara, director Srikanth Odela, actor Nani, and producer Sudhakar Cherukuri’s second collaboration, The Paradise, is set to raise the bar for rustic, gritty filmmaking. On Monday morning, the crew showed the first teaser trailer for The Paradise at Hyderabad’s AMB Cinemas.
The movie, which the Telugu film’s creators dubbed “a raw statement,” opens with the caveat, “raw, truth, raw language,” which sets the tone for what’s to come. Viewers get a sense of the plot and the locale from a voiceover that speaks Telangana Telugu. According to the female voice, although there are many tales about parrots and pigeons throughout history, crows are still not as well-known.
This movie tells the tale of one such underprivileged group of individuals who have been reprimanded and have now taken up swords in an effort to regain their territory. The Paradise tells the tale of a disobedient man who rose to prominence, ostensibly for the underprivileged.
The gloomy and melancholy scene depicts a ghetto strewn with dead people. The guy in the video, played by Nani, has twin braids and lets his body language and powerful build speak for him. He completes his appearance with a revolver, a watch attached to his shoes, and an eye-catching tattoo. Except for Dasara, the appearance is a sharp contrast to Nani’s friendly man-next-door persona throughout his career.
The soundtrack for the movie, which is still in the early phases of production, was composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The team consists of editor Navin Nooli, production designer Avinash Kolla, and cinematographer GK Vishnu.
On March 26, 2026, The Paradise will be released in theaters in a number of languages.
