In the eagerly anticipated follow-up to his 2012 smash, “Son of Sardaar 2,” Ajay Devgn reprises his role as Jassi. The film, which is full of humor, action, and distinctive Punjabi flare, brings the original’s charm and pandemonium to the Scottish highlands. The sequel, which was directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, adds a fresh cast of strange people and absurd scenarios while enhancing the wild spirit of the first film.
Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Mrunal Thakur, Neeru Bajwa, Chunky Panday, Kubbra Sait, Deepak Dobriyal, Vindu Dara Singh, Roshni Walia, Sharat Saxena, Sahil Mehta, and the late Mukul Dev made a posthumous cameo in “Son of Sardaar 2.”
Although the scheduling has proven difficult, the movie was moved from its original July 25 release date to August 1. With “Saiyaara” continuing its successful run and “Mahavatar Narsimha” becoming an unexpected smash, “Son of Sardaar 2” is up against fierce competition at the box office. The movie might not be able to stand out in a crowded release window this weekend, according to trade analysts, despite modest advance orders of about 28,000 tickets in major chains.
The Ashwani Dhir-directed movie, which stars Devgn alongside Sonakshi Sinha, centers on a guy who is entangled in a protracted family conflict. Despite receiving mixed reviews, the comedy, action, and catchy soundtrack made the picture popular with viewers.
10:06 (IST) Aug. 1 “Son of Sardaar 2” is praised as a hilarious, romantic, and Punjabi swaggering rollercoaster.
The movie receives a significant visual enhancement. With its rich and colorful cinematography, the film is set against the breathtaking backdrops of Scotland and London. Additionally, Punjab’s colors, passion, and culture are exquisitely captured in the movie, bringing them to life in each frame. The music is a huge triumph. The discourse is full of desi flair and is sharp. You will be applauding for your favorite characters and laughing aloud during many of the paisa vasool moments.
