Your journey as a woman, as an entrepreneur: Five years back, when I lost a job that I loved, and couldn’t see myself working again for any other organization, my role as an entrepreneur started. Backed with learning from my prior experiences and achievements in education which were like a fire in my heart reminding me that I have a strong purpose that surpasses the reality of being an employee. So began a tough entrepreneurial voyage as I laid the foundation for my brand Ascribe Healthcare Solutions. I crafted a work culture based on my values and providing the best environment for success and excellence in my organization.
Your Inspiration: My Dad Mr. Padmanabhan is my most inspirational person. He has supported me endlessly, believing in my dreams and cheering for me as they become a reality. I also found my inspiration not from the positives but the negative situations in my life. The hardships and failures inspired me to come out of those situations and make life better for me and others. From the socio-economic culture that I come from, education was a luxury and the highest freedom for a girl. Education inspires me because without that power it would have been hardest for me to break the glass ceilings.
Your thoughts on women’s participation in the entrepreneurial world: Women entrepreneurs have several qualities like perseverance, hard work, patience, optimism, intelligence, and are great at multitasking. Their success is attributed to their untiring hard work, perseverance, tenaciousness, determination, confidence in them, and most importantly, their compelling urge of wanting to do something positive in their lives. Of late, women have tried to break their mold. Also, there have been significant social, political, and economic changes that have created opportunities for women as well as given them greater acceptance and recognition in the corporate world
Few Cents To Readers And Future Entrepreneurs: Be passionate and honest about doing the right things even in the most inopportune circumstances. A grateful heart receives bigger rewards. I am always thankful for every little opportunity and for my people who work in my company.
