US Election Result: America prepares for Trump 2.0

America is Trump country again. He has pulled off improbable. Most polls have predicted a tight race. A lot of them gave an edge to Kamala Harris but Donald Trump had the last laugh. He will the 47th President of United States of America. Projections and leads show Trump sweeping all seven swing states. He won all seven of them.
The US has 538 Electoral College votes. Trump win 300+ projections and leads. Kamala Harris was stuck at 224.He retained the traditional Republican states and he captured the undecided ones. He also won the Popular Vote of 51%. Trump has become the second US President to win non-consecutive terms in the US.
In the victory speech, Trump talks about sealing borders and fixing the economy. In a rare move, he also called for unity. “Many people have told me that God spared my life for a reason and that reason was to save our country and restore America to greatness. And now we are going every single day I will be fighting for you and with every breath in my body.
I will not rest until we have delivered the strong safe and prosperous America that our children deserve and that you deserve. This will truly be the golden age of America. We have a country that needs help and it needs help very badly. We are going to fix our borders.”
On being elected as the President, Donald Trump said, “I want to thank the American people for the extraordinary honour of being elected your 47th President”.
He also added, “It’s time to put the divisions of the past four years behind us.”
JD Vans, the vice president, hails President Trump comeback. He said, “We just witnessed the greatest political comeback in the history of America.”
World leaders including PM Narendra Modi, British Prime Minister Keir Stramer, Canadian PM Justin Trudeau, French President Emmanuel Macron and Italian PM Giorgia Meloni congratulated Trump for his victory.
