BTS’ Jin is officially stepping into the solo spotlight with the announcement of his highly anticipated first solo world tour. Titled #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR, the global trek was unveiled on Thursday and will see the singer performing in nine major cities around the world — with two back-to-back shows in each location.
From BTS to the World—Solo Star Jin Drops Tour Schedule
The tour name cleverly incorporates Jin’s full given name, Kim Seok-jin, and marks a significant milestone in the artist’s post-military solo career. The journey is set to begin in his home country, with two consecutive performances at the Goyang Auxiliary Stadium in Goyang, South Korea on June 28 and 29.
Following the South Korea kickoff, Jin will take the stage at the Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall in Chiba, Japan on July 5 and 6. Additional cities and dates on the itinerary are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
Fans worldwide, affectionately known as ARMY, have been eagerly awaiting Jin’s solo return following his military discharge earlier this year. The #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR is expected to showcase a mix of new solo material and fan-favorite tracks, promising an emotional and unforgettable experience.
Global K-pop sensation Jin of BTS has officially announced the full schedule for his debut solo world tour, #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR, just days after revealing the release date of his upcoming album, Echo. The tour will span nine cities worldwide, featuring two-night performances at each stop and showcasing the singer’s evolving solo artistry.
Following his previously announced opening shows in Goyang, South Korea (June 28–29) and Chiba, Japan (July 5–6), Jin will continue the tour with a pair of performances in Osaka (July 12–13). From there, the global trek heads to the United States for stops in Anaheim, California (July 17–18), Dallas, Texas (July 22–23), Tampa, Florida (July 26–27), and Newark, New Jersey (July 30–31). The tour will then conclude with shows in London, U.K. (August 5–6) and Amsterdam, Netherlands (August 9–10).
The tour announcement arrives just two days after Jin confirmed the May 16 release of his second solo album, Echo. The project follows his 2024 debut Happy, and promises a more introspective and musically rich experience.
“Aiming to connect on a deeper level with fans through music, Echo offers Jin’s perspective on universal life experiences, capturing everyday emotions with warmth and sincerity,” read an official statement. “Built on dynamic band sounds, the album showcases his versatile vocals across a spectrum of moods and styles. It reflects a deeper layer of vocal maturity and personal storytelling that underscores Jin’s evolving artistry.”
Jin was the final BTS member to release a full solo LP, and Echo will mark his first new music since completing South Korea’s mandatory military service earlier this year. The group has been on hiatus for nearly three years, with all members pursuing solo projects during their service. As of now, no official date has been announced for BTS’ full-group return.
