Elon Musk: Dethroned as the Richest Person in the World

In the span of last nine months, this is the first time that Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk has been exceeded in the race of World’s Richest Person by Bloomberg Billionaire Index.Due to continued devaluation of Tesla’s Stocks Elon has lost his position to Amazon founder and former CEO Jeff Bezos, Musk is now on the second position in world’s richest person list. After 2021, this is the first time when Bezos has topped Bloomberg’s Billionaire Index.
Elon Musk Loses Title as World’s Richest Person
Tesla’s stock prices have been rising since 2019 and it peaked in 2021 after which a decline can be seen, while Amazon has been growing continuously since post pandemic. There was a time when the difference between Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos was more than $142 billion. However the differences have shrunk a lot in recent years. As per the reports Elon Musk’s net worth might have to take another hit, as Delaware has knocked out Tesla’s $55 billion pay package.
