Keir Starmer is all set to become Britain’s new PM
Keir Starmer’s Labour Party has a massive win in the general election which was held on Thursday. He said that nation has the opportunity to get its future back after 14 years.
Starmer will replace Rishi Sunak who served the nation for almost two years.
Keir Starmer will be serving the nation as the new PM and will eliminate 14 years of rigorous rule of the Conservative Party. Starmer accused the rule of the Conservative Party as “14 years of failures”. It will be very interesting to witness what the new PM of Britain is doing for his country.
Before the commencement of election, Keir Starmer said that “I’m not going to stand here and say there’s some magic wand that I can wave the day after the election and find money that isn’t there…Huge damage has been done to our economy. It is going to take time.” It would be quite challenging for the newly elected Prime Minister to deal with a long list of problems with few resources.
Starmer believes in pragmatism. He focuses on solving the problems by developing policies, not through theories. He reflects the ideas of people around him.
The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has congratulated Starmer over his win in the parliamentary election. French President Emmanuel Macron has also congratulated him. The Norwegian PM Jonas Gahr Stoere wished him a good luck with such an important job.
President of the European Council, Charles Michel has congratulated Keir Starmer for his historic win in the United Kingdom. Irish PM Simon Harris congratulated him and is looking forward for an engagement with the incoming PM. Australia, Canada and New Zealand have also congratulated to the new prime minister of UK.
