New Mahindra Thar 5-Doors
Mahindra is all set to launch the bigger 5-door Thar on the market. This five-door that will be based on the 3-door model but with a longer wheelbase and two additional doors to make it a better and more family-friendly option.
The new Thar launch will be larger in all dimensions, mainly in length and wheelbase, as compared to the on-sale Thar. It will have two roof options: hard and convertible soft. Besides, it could get features like LED headlamps, LED fog lights, and improved offroad-oriented suspension, to name a few.
Mahindra Thar 5-Doors Features
The Mahindra Thar 4 Door has a fully digital instrument console with a touchscreen infotainment system. It comes with new connected features like button start-stop, AdrenoX, dual-zone climate control, a manual day and night IRVM, and retractable ORVMs, to name a few. Further, this car is expected to be electric and sunproof.
The five-door Thar will feature four to six airbags, hill-hold and descent control systems, electronic stability programs, four-wheel disc brakes, seat belt tensioners with load limiters, and a 360-degree camera setting with rear parking sensors.
Performance Capacity of Mahindra Thar 5-Doors
The Mahindra SUV five-door is expected to be powered by a 2.0 million-dollar turbo-petrol motor and a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine. This vehicle is expected to have transmission options, including six-speed manual and automatic units.
Mahindra Thar 5-Doors Price in India
The starting 5-door price is expected to be around Rs 15 lakh. It will be a bigger size and a premium one among Force Gurkha 5door and Maruti Jimmy.

The expected Thar 5-door launch date is August 15, 2024.
