Power Grid Corporation of India (Powergrid) said on Monday that its consolidated net profit for the December 2024 quarter was ₹3,861.63 crore, a 4% decrease.
The business stated in an exchange statement that it had reported a net profit of ₹4,028.25 crore for the previous quarter.
In the October-December quarter of the previous fiscal year, the company’s total income was ₹11,819.70 crore, but it dropped to ₹11,743.06 crore.
Divi’s Laboratories, a pharmaceutical company, reported on Monday that its profit after tax (PAT) rose 65% to ₹589 crore for the December quarter due to strong sales in all countries.
For the October–December quarter of the previous fiscal year, the firm declared a profit after tax (PAT) of ₹358 crore.
According to a regulatory filing by Divi’s Laboratories, revenue from operations increased to ₹2,319 crore in the third quarter from ₹1,855 crore in the same time last year.
Castrol India Ltd. said on Monday that its profit after tax (PAT) for the December quarter increased by 12% to ₹271 crore. According to Castrol India, the firm reported a PAT of ₹242 crore for the October–December 2023 period.
Castrol India’s fiscal year runs from January to December.
According to the report, operating revenue increased by 7% to ₹1,354 crore for the reporting quarter.
