Sensing the gap in the market, between multinational foreign players with brand identities and the small and medium level Indian CA firms that were stereotyped for their quality standards, the idea of setting up an Indian Consultancy Brand was crystallised by the founders Mr. Anmol Wadhwa and Mr. Kush Chitkara. The objective was to break such stereotype and to provide the highest level of quality services to its clients for reasonable price as compared to the multinational foreign brands, and this is how RAH was born!

THE TEAM AT RAH
RAH has been founded by Mr. Anmol Wadhwa and Mr. Kush Chitkara in the year 2016. Often referred as ‘Kids’ due to their age, both of them have been able to meet and exceed client expectations. Mentioning one of such incident, the founders said:
We have a very major multi-national Japanese client whom we were catering since 4 years. During this time, we have handled tax compliances for such client, including numerous successful instances of tax litigations and refund matters. By reason of the same, RAH has made a strong name in the eyes of the upper management of such client.
However, as a matter of chance, we never met the Managing Director of the Company, until recently, where he was shocked and could not digest the fact that we were actually the founders of the firm that has been successfully handling such big assignments for them and he just kept repeating that these two are just fucking kids! Though once he could get his head around such fact…he had nothing but appreciation for us and RAH!
Anmol Wadhwa, (Co-Founder) is a Chartered Accountant, and a Professional level candidate in the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (‘ICSI’), India. As one of the leaders in the firm, he brings with him over 10 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry across different verticals like Finance, Accounts and Taxation, including over 2 years of experience at Ernst & Young LLP in indirect taxes profile. He is also the writer, composer and singer of the famous CA Anthem “Ek Junoon Tha”
Kush Chitkara, (Co-Founder) is also a Chartered Accountant and has qualified with an All India Rank of 42. He brings with him over 9 years of experience in Auditing and Indirect Taxation, has worked in Deloitte for an year in Audit profile and in Ernst & Young LLP in indirect taxes profile for 4 years. He has extensive experience and core specialisation in the field of Indirect Taxation. The two of them together have built a team through a slow and dedicated process to give their bootstrap business a fighting chance in the industry. “

When we started off in 2016, we had promising jobs in the so-called best fields and organisations with handsome salaries. We had EMIs running and were living very comfortable lives. Our parents were happy and so were our relatives. But we saw what we were doing was, in a sense, limited. We have always believed and experienced that all the success happens outside of your comfort zone. So don’t limit yourself, step out of your comfort zone and get what you want!
