Rajasthan Budget 2025: Key Announcements, Sector-Wise Allocations & Highlights
Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Diya Kumari presented the state budget for 2025 in the Rajasthan Assembly on February 19. Major Announcements in Rajasthan Budget 2025
The Rajasthan government has introduced several initiatives aimed at improving public welfare:

Employee Benefits:
- DPC promotions will now have a two-year relaxation period.
- Medical benefits under RGHS (Rajasthan Government Health Scheme) have been extended. Employees can now choose to cover either their parents or in-laws under the scheme.
- Retired employees will receive a notional pay increment from July 1 of their retirement year.
- Gratuity limit increased from Rs. 20 lakh to Rs. 25 lakh.
- Pensioners will receive higher medical reimbursement—the limit has been raised from Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 50,000.

Support for Families of Deceased Employees:
- If a government employee dies in service after April 1, 2024, their family will receive an enhanced pension for 10 years.

- The agriculture and dairy sector will see increased funding to support small-scale farmers and cattle rearers.
- Special assistance has been announced for dairy cooperatives and milk producers.
