Luxury Watch Brand Rotoris Raises $8.5 Mn To Grow Retail Footprint
Gurugram, October 28: Indian luxury watch brand Rotoris has raised a Series A round of about $8.5 million to scale up research, production and its physical presence in India and abroad. The round was led by Blume Ventures and also saw participation from 9Unicorns, Centricity and family offices including Diwakar Goel, Atul Singh and Adhiraj Burman. Actor and television host Rannvijay Singha also took part.
What the money will fund
The funds will go towards R&D, expanded production and growing the Rotoris House footprint in India and overseas, including New York. Rotoris House is an appointment-only space where the brand receives clients.
Demand so far
Rotoris’s founding collection of 2,100 numbered watches sold out within days of its February 2026 launch. Close to 100,000 people have since registered for access, and 40% of demand comes from outside India, across the US, Dubai and Australia.
The brand does not sell like a typical retailer. It sells limited-edition watches through an invitation-only membership programme called the Rotoris Registry. Its main collections include Manifesta and Astonia.
Made in India
Every watch is assembled and tested by hand at the Rotoris Atelier in India, using Swiss machinery and processes set up with guidance from Swiss horologists. The movements are Swiss and Japanese.
Investor view
Blume Ventures co-founder and managing partner Karthik Reddy said the investment reflects confidence in the founders’ ability to build an Indian brand with global ambitions.
Founders and earlier funding
Rotoris was co-founded by Aakash Anand, who previously built and exited Bella Vita, and Prerna Gupta, who leads the brand. In December 2025, the company raised $3 million in a seed round led by Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath, among others.
