The DGE Tamil Nadu has officially released admit cards for private candidates appearing for the 2025 Class 10 and Class 12 board exams. Students can now download their hall tickets from the official website: dge.tn.gov.in.

- Click on the “Admit Cards” section on the homepage.
- Enter your application number, permanent registration number, and date of birth.

Revised Exam Pattern for Tamil Nadu Class 12 Board Exams 2025
The Tamil Nadu State Board has introduced a new marking system for both regular and private candidates:
- Subjects will now carry 70 or 90 marks, replacing the previous 200-mark scheme.
Transition for Private Students from the Old Syllabus
- Students who failed exams under the old syllabus must now retake equivalent subjects under the updated syllabus.
Practical Exam Requirements & Passing Criteria
For subjects that include practical exams, students must meet the following criteria:
- Score a minimum of 15 out of 70 in the written exam.
- Attend and complete the practical exam.
- Achieve an overall minimum of 35 marks (combining written, internal assessment, and practical exam scores).
- If a student passes the written exam but misses the practical exam, they must reappear for the practical component separately.
