It reflects the work culture of this Mumbai based company, which is synonymous to an ideal 21st-century workplace. WOOT Factor is a burgeoning force in the domain of Experiential Marketing. It is a full-service Events & Marketing agency that has its expertise in the verticals of Corporate Events, Brand/ Product launches, MICE & RNRs, BTL and Creatives & Designing.

We know that the market is growing dynamically and this is the age of “Phygital”. Making lifelong experience

WOOT Factor is not just an on-ground experience provider but has also created milestone events and experiences on several online platforms. Be it creating photography contests, quiz contests or engage kids as a target group via one of the largest drawing contests online (listed in the Limca Book of Records), WOOTadds value by curating an online extension to its on-ground platforms and manage them right from the designing stage to development and execution of these said platforms.

Adding to WOOT’s online initiatives, it has also stayed ahead of competition by adapting latest technologies in on-ground events and MICE projects. Be it simplicity in turning instant photos into simple WhatsApp pictures or using the best of available technologies for stage setups and product launches, WOOT has always been consistent and up to date with technological advancements.

Since its inception in 2009, it has focused on a relevant growth path for every client who has invested their time and trust with it, which is justified by staying humble and customer-centric in each and every assignment.

“We do not believe in saying NO to any sort of assignment and the ability to multi-task over the years has been instrumental in our growth rate.” says Mr Relan.

The second home for employees

WOOT is growing as a team and hence keeping the environment-friendly is of utmost importance. The management has maintained flexible working hours and also believes in celebrating milestones. Most importantly, it looks forward to creating occasions to applaud the employees for their efforts and create offline engagements where their success can be celebrated.

WOOT Factor is a second home for most of the employees. Making work part of your life rather than an extension of it has been a core focus for the co-producers Amit Relan and Smita Jadhav. “We wish to be friends but at the same time acts as leaders too, and getting that mix right has been the key to our success. A happy place always delivers happy results and trust me it shows”, says Smita Jadhav.

Both the co-producers are highly motivated and inspired individuals. Mr Relan has drawn a lot of inspiration when it comes to learning the art of discipline from the god of cricket, Sachin Tendulkar.“I find Oprah Winfrey extremely inspirational. She is the ideal personification of a woman. But what I love about her the most is despite having one of the toughest time growing up, she has the ability to find happiness by GIVING”, says Ms Jadhav.

Apart from its daily business, the company keeps itself engaged in many noble causes. It endeavors to create an atmosphere where animals are accepted, respected and loved. It has contributed in a small way currently to this initiative and has a monthly association with a couple of leading NGOs in this field to make humble contributions that bring a heart-warming change.

Milestones and Achievements

WOOT Factor was recently recognized as one of the Top 25 event companies in India. It has helped several community centers across India win several accolades courtesy events curated and executed by it such as the Effie Awards, Abby Award, DMA Asia Award and the Golden Globe Tigers. Recently Amit Relan was also recognized by ET Now as one of the “Leaders of Tomorrow” in the events industry forum.

Starting from a home office back in 2009, WOOT established itself as a Pvt. Ltd organization in 2014. It was recognized as partners for 3 of the Top 5 Banking institutions in the country. The leaders of the company have been on several industry panels and business forums lending insights into the trends of the events marketplace. WOOT also broke through to international waters in 2017 by executing a couple of events for a leading real estate developer in APAC.

The team has always believed in empowering the workforce with the perfect blend of R&D, strong support of ideations from the creative team and the finesse of executing projects on BTL, Events or MICE projects at every stage.

Have a lot in its kitty

Staying stagnant or simply retaining business is not the only objective and the growth rate maintained by WOOT Factor has only begun. WOOT plans to expand its wings further into the world of financial service institutions besides also focusing on regional client acquisitions in the real estate vertical.

One key area of focus for the company is to create its own IPs and it is working closely with a couple of media houses to make this a possibility. MICE is a growing strategic business unit for the company. With the growing demand of finding unique experiences in an already exhausted domestic destinations, it is looking at the ideations as a key to win and grow the business over the next couple of years.

In the near term, it wishes to be known as one of the best, most effective partners for the BFSI industry and that is a path it has focused on YoY. “Within the next couple of years, we foresee WOOT creating IPs in the consumer space and creating noteworthy experiential events with the help of some of the leading media houses in the country”, says Mr Relan.

Its long-term plans are majorly focused towards developing talent, creating entrepreneurs within the setup who can diversify within the space of events. As a company, WOOT has always aligned itself to the clients in understanding their business. It foresees a long-term foray into other industries such as Entertainment, Tourism and the FMCG industry. In the long run, it aspires to educate budding entrepreneurs and talent.
