The human adult body is filled with up to 60 per cent of water. It indicates how much water plays role in our lives. Drinking hot water or cold water keeps our body healthy and hydrated. Water is used in our body’s all cells, organs, as well as tissues in order to help with regulating temperature and to balance the rest of the complex functions for survival.

From Ayurveda to ancient Chinese Medicine, one thing everyone seems to agree on is, “drinking warm water can be beneficial for the human body”. It promotes digestion, relieves congestion, and even promotes relaxation.

On the other hand, in medical research, most health benefits of hot water are based on anecdotal report. Although, it has happened a little bit of research in this area. Usually, people drink hot water before going to bed and after waking up in the morning. Indeed, it is a good habit.

Drinking warm water is especially effective for activating the digestive systems, which plays a vital role in breaking down food substances.

Daily warm water consumption can cleanse the body and repair the skin cells which are usually affected by the harmful free radicals. It can improve the elasticity of your skin as well as prevent premature ageing. Your skin will become smoother, toned, and wrinkle-free.

#6. Improve Circulation.

Healthy blood circulation impacts everything from blood pressure (High/Low) to the risk of heart disease. Taking a hot shower promotes your circulatory organs, arteries, and veins – expand and circulate blood better throughout your body. This can help muscles relax and reduce pain.

Drinking warm water regularly is an easy way to get the blood flowing as well. Although, there is more research needed on this topic.

Hot water consumption daily can be recognized as an unwanted weight loose weapon. This may partially be because consuming water enhances the feeling of fullness. Drinking lukewarm water in the morning or throughout the day can help in three ways to weight loss:

By boosting metabolism – Drinking Lukewarm water changes your body temperature. To compensate for warm water temperature, our body drops down the internal temperature and activates the metabolism.

By eliminating fat molecules – Drinking hot water eliminates fat in the body and mobilizes them into molecules. As I have said before, warm water boosts the digestive system. In that case, it burns down the waste.

Curb appetite – Having a glass of mild-warm water 30 minutes before starting your healthy meals. It manages your calorie intake.
