By- Anurag Tiwari

Holi 2025 Date and Time: Holika Dahan is set to be observed on the evening of Thursday, March 13, 2025, while the vibrant festivities of Holi will take place on Friday, March 14, 2025, as per Drik Panchang.

Holika Dahan and Holi 2025:

Holi, popularly known as the “Festival of Colours,” is one of the most vibrant and joyous Hindu festivals, celebrated with immense enthusiasm across India and beyond. Typically observed over two days, Holi marks the victory of good over evil and the arrival of spring.

The first day, known as Holika Dahan, Jalawali Holi, or Chhoti Holi, involves the ritualistic burning of Holika to symbolize the triumph of devotion and righteousness. The second day, called Rangwali Holi or Dhulandi, is the grand celebration where people play with dry gulaal and watercolours, making it the highlight of the festival.

The festival’s origins stem from Hindu mythology, where the demon king Hiranyakashyap sought to kill his son Prahlad for his unwavering devotion to Lord Vishnu. His sister Holika, who was immune to fire, attempted to burn Prahlad alive. However, divine intervention led to Holika perishing in the flames while Prahlad emerged unharmed. This event signifies the essence of Holi—victory of faith, devotion, and good over evil.

As the vibrant festival of colours draws near, excitement is soaring among those eagerly preparing to celebrate. Reflecting this enthusiasm, search terms like “Holi 2025” and “Holi kab hai 2025” have witnessed a significant surge in Google Search Trends.
