GATE 2025 Outcome Date and Time: On March 19, the results of the Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering will be made public by the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT-R). To view and download their results, candidates who took the GATE 2025 exam must go to the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
By entering their enrollment ID and password on the official GATE website or the GOAPS portal, candidates will be able to view their results. As in previous years, sectional papers XE, XH, and XL will have different ranks and scores. GATE 2025 scores will remain valid for three years from the date of the announcement of results.
GATE 2025 Result: Date and Time of Score Check
According to IIT Roorkee’s official calendar, the GATE 2025 result is scheduled to be made public on March 19. The result’s release date hasn’t been announced yet, though. The results were made public on March 16 of last year between 5:30 and 5:45 p.m. The scorecards will thereafter be made public by the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee.
Only candidates who achieved higher than or equal to the qualifying scores listed for the SC, ST, or PwD categories of that paper will be allowed to access the GATE 2025 scoreboard. GATE 2025 scorecards will not be sent to other candidates.
The candidate’s overall score, All India Rank (AIR), and the marks they received in each exam part will all be included on their scorecard. Candidates should be aware that only those who meet the cut-off score will receive their scorecard.

More than 8.26 lakh applications covering more than 30 test papers were received last year. 6,53,292 of these applicants took the test.
The total number of candidates who passed all GATE exam papers in their respective categories (GEN/EWS/OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwD) was 1,29,268 based on the 2024 cutoff for both categories and test papers.
Enrollment in GATE increased by 23% in 2024 compared to 2023, with over 6.70 lakh students signing up for a total of 29 examinations. With an aggregate attendance of almost 77%, 5.17 lakh of these candidates took the test at more than 500 locations nationwide.
