ADVANCE FERTILITY & GYNAE CENTRE (AFGC): A DISTINGUISHED NAME FOR REVOLUTIONARY IVF SOLUTIONS
Infertility is one of the popular and melancholic medical concerns in India, especially for a woman. However, to surmount this hindrance, technology has conceived In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) or ‘test-tube baby‘. The process has provided hope to many disconsolate couples to have their own children and enjoy parenthood. However, In-Vitro Fertilization is sometimes considered a very exorbitant process and some couples tend to avoid it.
This is where Advance Fertility & Gynae Centre (AFGC) comes to the picture. With 9 years of successful journey and its Medical Director, Dr Kaberi Banerjee having more than 20 years of experience in the field of fertility, the company is leading the Indian market with its cost-effective, cutting-edge services.
A CELEBRATED FOUNDATION
AFGC, is a proficient IVF Centre providing a trove of IVF services, with the best results. Headquartered in Delhi NCR, the center stands as an outstanding assisted reproduction center, for every couple willing to adopt a child through comprehensive technologies. The center is structured with, all the contemporary inventions of the century, making them a preferable choice for centric solutions.
AFGC was founded in 2011, by Dr Kaberi Banerjee, Founder/Director. Dr Bannerjee is an Internationally acclaimed Infertility Expert, having two decades of experience. Along with her, the center is accommodated with, seasoned professionals of the domain, whose professional qualification and experience offer guarantee and success at an affordable price.
A STATE-OF-THE-ART CENTRE
AFGC has built an advanced embryology laboratory, capable to provide best results even in complicated cases. The lab is separated into two parts – the first part is where the tests are conducted. Some of the prominent procedures undertaken in the lab are In-Vitro Fertilization, Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection, Blastocyst Culture, Assisted Hatching and Pre-implantation Screening and Diagnosis.
Second, is the cryopreservation chamber. Here vitrification of sperms, oocytes as well as embryos is done for future use, if necessary. Cryopreservation helps patients to conceive another child with good results, through frozen embryo transfer. In addition to the lab, the center has segregated surgical operating theatre, IVF operating room, where laparoscopic/hysteroscopic procedures are conducted to enhance fertility.
The post-operative area is maintained by trained staff nurses and reproductive medicine consultants at all times. Apart from the OTs, they have consultation chambers, where patients can discuss their issues, with consultants and injection room, where patients receive their scheduled injections.
FUNCTIONAL AMID THE PANDEMIC
In the wake of COVID-19 outbreak, AFGC has been communicating, with their patients through teleconsultations. Since physical interaction, can be harmful to both the doctor and patient, the centre is venturing on telemedicine solutions to help and advise patients with medicines, treatments, etc.
However, they have to physically attend to NRI patients, aged patients with poor egg reserves and indispensable cases, for which they are maintaining strict safety measures like constructing Triage areas, Checking Aarogya Setu App, Thermal checking, Social distancing, Very minimal waiting time, COVID test for wife and husband for IVF/IUI cases and COVID test, for the wife for endoscopic procedures.
Nurses are explaining and teaching the patients to take injections themselves, through a telemedicine platform. Laboratory staffs and doctors are being called on a shift basis. Also, the administration team that handles patient appointments and smooth functioning of the OPD collaboratively, with the financial team had to resort to telephonic consultations, to ensure hassle-free services. To keep their employees motivated, salaries were provided on time as per their duties and schedules. To ensure safety, staff members in the centre are suited, with PPE kits- N95 mask, gloves and face shield.
A CULTURED WORKFORCE
AFGC has garnered a distinguished set of professionals, who play a prominent role in keeping the center preferable. Every employee is customized, with designated duties, which helps to maintain the serenity of the establishment. The nursing team helps in administering the injections, Laboratory staffs’ play a crucial role in embryo formation and Doctors’ counseling, and follicular monitoring are important for the IVF process.
USPs THAT MAKES THEM FAVOURABLE
At AFGC Dr Banerjee believes in explaining treatment options and empowering couples in decision making. She does not propose advanced tests like IVF/ICSI unless their tests leave them, with no other option. Dr Banerjee asserts, ”we believe in treating the couple as a whole instead of just managing the women and male partner separately and parallely”. Transparency and comprehension; these are the cornerstones of AFGC’s services. This is further backed by the consultants, who uphold a benevolent approach towards their patients.
