One of the new additions in iOS 16.5 is the introduction of a sports tab within the Apple News app. This feature enables users to keep track of their favorite sports teams, players, and leagues. Moreover, the inclusion of My Sports score and schedule cards in Apple News allows users to access detailed information about specific games by redirecting them to the respective game pages.
According to Apple’s release note regarding this new feature, the Sports tab in Apple News provides easy access to stories, scores, standings, and more for the teams and leagues users follow.
