Day in A Life of An Entrepreneur

Day in A Life of An Entrepreneur

Entrepreneur means cracking the real-world problems. But do you think?  They solve the issues in a minute, no it takes so many hours and effort to bring a solution. It proves that there isn’t a usual day for an entrepreneur like normal people have. Every single entrepreneur has one perspective that how they will utilize their day. Not all entrepreneur wakes up at 5 am or earlier and goes for a morning walk before doing mediation (Although, these activities are so important for them).

Not everyone records vlog while sipping wheatgrass smoothie. All by 8:00 am, all entrepreneurs would like head to the office. However, having family and children, some entrepreneurs have to spend morning time to get children ready for school. Some others wake up with laptops or mobile and respond to emails while having a large cup of coffee. Either way, the entrepreneurial day is begun with a ritual for becoming motivated for a tough day.

We all get 24 hours to get the thing done. However, each and every day for an entrepreneur life is designed to make larger all of the 24 hours of a day as much as possible. Let me very clear this sentence “they have a very long and rough day.” This is the day their common occurrence Which nobody expects at all. They give effort to the amount of work, not focus on work hours. This is why they start work earlier and finish work late.

Some people think that entrepreneurial life is glamorous all the time, here I would say when you are running an organization, each day you face new problems and not all the time as glamorous as you think. An entrepreneur knows how to handle a situation. Also, they have to take care of everything like from marking to the spokesperson, from the HR department to the sales department.

A day they may have to travel from one country to another for the client’s meeting. But another day they stuck in the office by interviewing new candidates, taking meetings over skype calls, and responding so many emails. Overall their day is adventures because they don’t know what the day may bring for them.

Jeff Bezos (The CEO of Amazon) has a plethora of crucial decisions to make between Amazon and Blue Origin (Aerospace company). He likes to start his day with most critical meetings so that when the energy level is getting down by the end of the day, he can try to stop the making decisions. According to make it, making three decisions the end of the day is enough for him. A successful entrepreneur doesn’t force their self to make the decisions instantly.

Once Mark Twain said, “Eat a live frog first thing in the morning and nothing worse will happen to you the rest of the day.” Starting the day with a rough and most tough task is a really great idea because at the time we get motivated by morning activities. When you do that the rest of the day will be easy in comparison. An entrepreneur always prefers to get intellectual work done in the morning, and more creative work they like to do when they start feeling tired.

Now you may have a question about their family and friends. Well, the day isn’t just for running a company and meeting with new people, it also about spending quality time with family and friends, and most importantly spending time with themselves. A successful entrepreneur knows the family’s importance, this is why they spend early hours with themselves or business before the family members awake so that they can have breakfast with the rest of the house members.

Sometimes you may get surprised by successful entrepreneurs, they are obsessive with books, they set aside time just for reading. Elon musk who have grown by reading books. He said I used to spend more time in the library, he still likes to read books. Bill Gates (Founder & former CEO of Microsoft) spends a lot of time reading books. According to CNBC, he read 50 books in a year. Because we all know “Knowledge is power.”

An entrepreneur enhances knowledge by reading books, daily business paper, and scrolling social media for appropriate information. Sometimes the evening is scheduled for family and friends, though they keep the smartphone in their hand to respond important message that comes through. Each day Mark Zuckerberg (Founder & CEO of Facebook) take his phone to scroll through social media and new update before starting his day. He ends the day by playing with his children.

Richard Branson (Founder of Virgin group) get up at five o’clock every day to do some works and check appropriate mails before having morning meal with his family. There are so many entrepreneurs who would like to do the business-related thing first before jumping on the breakfast with his house member.

Working for others you may have 40 to 48 hours of work a week but an entrepreneur works 60 hours or more in a week. During the entire hours, they have to be super motivated because they don’t want investors and employees to lose faith in them. Elon Musk who has 100 hours of work a week.

He manages his time between two companies Tesla and Spec X. Overall, I want to say that an entrepreneur’s life isn’t like normal people. You may have heard a famous sentence that “We are making the best place to live.”  This is totally true; they love to spend whole life by doing something different and new. Steve Jobs (Apple Founder) said: “I’m convinced that the only thing that kept me going was that I loved what I did.” I believe that they have a reason that helps them to keep going for long days, without any fear.

I want to end this conversation by telling Mandy Hale’s quote.

“There is nothing more beautiful than someone who goes out of their way to make life beautiful for others.”~ Mandy Hale
