Some Inspirational Quotes for Entrepreneurs

Some Inspirational Quotes for Entrepreneurs

The entrepreneurial journey is not less than a roller-coaster ride. There are moments when one gets irate, tense and out of solutions. The ray of hope seems blurred. How does one overcome such dark phase of entrepreneurship? One can learn to overcome the hardships of entrepreneurship by the worldly-wise knowledge of many great personalities. We are flooded with the practical experience of many renowned persons from varied domains. They have gone through such phase long before our existence.

Whatever experience they had pertaining to entrepreneurship, were aptly noted in their autobiographies, biographies, and quotes. Many of the ideas or quotes are centuries or even millenniums old. Irrespective of this fact, they are still relevant. So, why not fill our grey cells with their time-tested shrewdness?  Let’s get started.

Chanakya: “Life’s too short to learn from your own mistakes. So learn from others”

One of the most admired scholars and diplomats, he is best known for his wisdom that helped in founding an undivided India. This was his believe that one should not waste ones time in learning from the mistakes. A whole life is short to learn and rectify your mistakes. It’s better to learn from others’ mistakes.

Walt Disney: “All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.”

Most of the times, it is not the stature of dreams that stops us from achieving our dreams but the lack of courage is the main barrier. We often fall short of the courage needed to make impossible possible. It places a winner apart from the loser.

Oprah Winfrey: “Don’t worry about being successful but work toward being significant and the success will naturally follow.”

More often than not, our desire to become successful overpowers the need to become significant. In other words, we are inclined towards tasting success rather than being focused towards gaining brilliance. Brilliance is the key to success.

Walt Disney: “The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing.”

This is one of the most relevant points in an entrepreneur’s life. There are times when we get overcrowded with a bag full of motivational quotes. Rather than motivating, superfluous information tends to confuse us and leaves us in hodgepodge.

Theodore Roosevelt: “The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena; whose face is marred with dust and sweat; who strives valiantly, who errs and may fall again and again because there is no effort without error or shortcoming.”

Roy Ash: “An entrepreneur tends to bite off a little more than he can chew hoping he’ll quickly learn how to chew it.”

John A. Shedd: “A ship in the harbor is safe, but that is not what ships are built for.”

This means that a person with a vast knowledge is meant to make the most out of it in the entrepreneurial venture. The person should be ready to face the challenges and sail through them successfully.

Thomas Edison: “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.”

Failure is the most frightening aspect that hinders the growth of a person. Even before our plunge in the ocean of entrepreneurship, we are terrified by the thought of getting drown into it. Every time when we decide to take a new initiative, we learn one new way to overcome failure.

Jeff Bezos: “Because, you know, resilience – if you think of it in terms of the Gold Rush, then you’d be pretty depressed right now because the last nugget of gold would be gone. But the good thing is, with innovation, there isn’t a last nugget. Every new thing creates two new questions and two new opportunities.”

Drew Houston: “Don’t worry about failure; you only have to be right once.”

All the doubts and skepticism are washed away the moment one reach to the ladder of success. It hardly makes a difference as to how many times have one failed. Every failure teaches us something.

Jack Ma: “In carrying out e-commerce, the most important thing is to keep doing what you are doing right now with passion, to keep it up.”

Warren Buffett: “Someone is sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago.”

Albert Einstein: “Try not to become a man of success. Rather become a man of value.”

These are some of the life-changing quotes that entrepreneurs can follow and implement the in-depth learning in their professional life to make it more fruitful.
