Ultimate Ground Reality: Elevating the Hospitality Sphere with Personalized Services

The 10 Most Inspiring CEOs to Look Out For in 2024

There is massive competition in the hospitality industry. Organisations go the extra mile to provide visitors an enjoyable and rewarding experience. That entails being able to fulfil the increasing needs of visitors, completing tasks, and finding quick solutions to problems.

In this dynamic business landscape, consulting businesses serve as guiding lights for steering companies towards their goals and fostering growth. UGR is a leading force in hospitality consultancy.

With a team of professional SME (subject matter experts) with vast experience in the hospitality realm, the company provides its clients access to the team’s hospitality expertise. It enables them to run their businesses seamlessly, be it operating hotels, restaurants, bars, open-air desert restaurants, or speciality cafes, under the inspiring direction of Bosco Daniel, CEO of UGR.

Established in 2019, UGR (Ultimate Ground Reality) is one of the leading names in the consulting realm in Dubai, U.A.E. The company has achieved remarkable success in guiding its clients in the best way Possible for each bespoke project and has gained widespread recognition in the industry.

Furthermore, the company works with private offices out of Europe and GCC for funding bespoke projects. The team of professionals carefully vet each project and then present it to the Private offices for further interaction.

The Genesis of UGR

A team of former colleagues came together to lay the foundation of UGR as a hospitality consultancy company, building on their exceptional professional connections and business experience from previous projects. They officially established a corporation to strengthen their relationships with clients, coworkers, and well-wishers since they felt it was time to get back to basics.

To deliver any project successfully, it is always important to have a team that works like a well-oiled machine. They always need to focus on the client’s deliverables with the ultimate goal in mind, ensuring accuracy and speed. The team has been tried and tested on various projects. They excel at it and can cooperate under tight deadlines and work pressures.

The Man at the Helm

With 40+ years of extensive expertise in the hospitality industry, Bosco Daniel possesses extensive knowledge of this region. He has worked as a hotelier for globally recognized companies such as Jumeirah, Marriott, Oberois, and Taj Group of Hotels in India, Yemen, K.S.A and the United Arab Emirates for over 4 decades.

In the event’s realm, Bosco has successfully managed numerous high-profile events ranging from Dubai World Cup races, Endurance Races, and Show Jumping catering in the Middle East, UK, and USA.

He further handled Shows of A Listers like Santana, Elton John, Katy Perry, Nancy Ajram, Amr Diab, Nikki Minaj and several Bollywood shows in Dubai during his event career in Hotels. Corporate Events, Product Launches, Large Outside Catering, Destination Weddings etc…were part of the daily To-Do List for several years

Integration of the Latest Technologies

Technological integration is essential like any other organisation that aspires to grow significantly. Positioning itself as an industry pioneer, UGR has always been on the lookout for fresh market trends.

The landscape of hospitality and related fields is constantly developing since clients are well travelled and have exacting standards more than ever. This is the reason all of the SMEs stay up-to-date on the newest trends based on their core competencies and regularly update the team so that everyone is aligned and working in the same direction.

Esteemed Clientele and Corporate Ethos

Over their 5+ year journey, UGR has worked with many clients across their home base in the U.A.E. and later expanded to K.S.A., Baku, India, and Ethiopia. Given that the home base is a melting pot of cultures, the team meets clients who engage with them here and want to work with them on their home ground as well.

This is of course because Bosco worked with the Le Meridien and Jumeirah Group of Hotels in a senior capacity for over 3 decades and built the bridge of a strong network with his clients.

Venita is an Ex Hotelier and has been the support structure for the UGR journey from day 1. She worked with the Taj and Le Meridien Group of Hotels as well as headed special projects for event companies – Premier Events, Co-Co Express and Al Salam in Dubai for 3+ decades. Since she knows how business development works in this region, she heads the Business Development arm of the Organization.

The tagline of UGR is “Ultimately, it’s all about trust.” The team works together to exceed client expectations while upholding transparency. Adhering to these principles, UGR has successfully established a trust factor among their client base and won their faith. In the words of Warren Buffet, “I learned to go into business only with people whom I like, trust, and admire,” stated Bosco Daniel.

Significance of Research and Development

R&D is at the heart of UGR. In the hospitality industry, this is something that is done daily. The market has changed significantly since 9/11, the 2008 financial crisis, and the COVID era. Companies had to evolve or perish during these phases.

Elevating Firms and Fostering Growth: UGR’s USP

Taking a customer-centric approach and attending to details when serving clientele makes UGR stand out in the industry. They assure transparency in their dealings. Additionally, most of their clientele have transitioned from being clients to friends due to the mannerisms of doing business adopted by UGR.

Word of mouth has been their primary marketing mantra. The distinctive approach of quality over quantity has been the road the team has travelled on and reached so far. They have now been able to maintain their prominence for the right reasons because of social media, professional networks like LinkedIn, and their frequent in-person and virtual networking events.

UGR’s Approach to Team Motivation

The core team at UGR comprises four SMES as permanent employees or partners with years of expertise and excellence. Besides this, they have a whole network of freelance professionals who can ramp up the team from 4 to 40 in less than a week.

The key motivation factor for a team is the networking events they meet at and the quality time they spend with each other. A few examples of their informal gatherings are movie nights, pound parties, and barbecues, and that’s where they see the creativity of the Team shine.

“Teamwork is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results.” Andrew Carnegie

Future Endeavors’

Project management consulting is poised for significant growth in the future, and UGR is strategically positioned to succeed. Many clients approach UGR for assistance beyond its scope of hospitality consulting.

“UGR will be focusing on Hospitality Real Estate deals and projects from Q-2/2024 in UAE, KSA, Oman, Baku, Georgia, India and Sri Lanka since many clients and investors are interested in purchasing & leasing properties and getting the right operator to the table. This is something that UGR understands and is able to connect the dots for all such projects be it Hotels, Restaurants, Bars, Beach Clubs etc.. in these regions”

Besides this, the company will associate with a renowned Indian brand for the upcoming Vibrant Goa event in Goa, India. They are also working on a project for one of their clients this summer in Azerbaijan- Baku and Dubai for new F&B Concepts.

Giving Back to the Community

UGR’s CSR arm will begin operations in stages from this year forward – it’s named “Daniel’s Foundation.” The three verticals of this foundation are:

1. Dreams: Aspiring GMs program: This is a scholarship program designed to help freshmen in Catering College get from college to internship, job placement, and Cornell certification, ultimately landing them the coveted post of General Manager at a world-class facility.

2. Starz: Adopt an orphan by sponsoring him or her until the age of 18 and then helping them enter the corporate or business sector.

3. DBL: Sponsor one Salesian priest every year from high school to ordination.

Advice for Aspiring Entrepreneurs

“Work with passion and give it all you have.“ In our field, every day is unique and represents a fresh start, which entails inspiration and excitement packed into a single 24-hour capsule – Give it your best shot Today, and the rest will take care of itself. Never Give Up !!- Bosco Daniel
