PM Kisan Update: Rs.2000 Credited to Farmers’ Bank Accounts Today – PM Modi Releases Funds
In a major relief for farmers across the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has released the latest installment of Rs.2000 under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana today. This direct benefit transfer aims to provide financial support to millions of eligible farmers, helping them meet their agricultural needs.
The scheme, which provides Rs. 6000 annually in three equal installments, continues to be a crucial initiative in empowering the farming community. Beneficiaries can check their bank accounts to confirm the credit or visit the official PM Kisan portal (pmkisan.gov.in) for updates.
The government remains committed to supporting farmers and strengthening the agricultural sector through various welfare initiatives.
Under the central government’s PM Kisan Yojana, the financial assistance of ₹2000 for farmers will be directly credited to their bank accounts today (Monday).
As part of the 19th installment of the PM Kisan Scheme, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release ₹23,000 crore for around 10 crore farmers today (February 24).
PM Modi to Transfer Rs. 23,000 Crore Under 19th PM-KISAN Installment
The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme is one of the key welfare initiatives by the central government to support farmers. It provides ₹6000 per year to eligible farmers in three equal installments.
Launched in 2019, this scheme benefits farmers with up to 2 hectares of land, transferring funds every four months directly into Aadhaar-linked bank accounts. Over 10 crore farmers across India have been availing of this benefit.
The 18th installment was released by PM Modi on October 15, 2024. Now, after a gap of four months, farmers are eagerly awaiting the 19th installment, which will be disbursed today (February 24). PM Modi will officially release the funds at an event in Bhagalpur, Bihar.
Important Update for Farmers: Complete Your E-KYC
Farmers who regularly receive this financial aid are advised to complete their e-KYC to continue getting the benefits. The PM Kisan mobile app allows farmers to complete e-KYC through OTP or facial recognition technology, making the process easier without the need for biometrics or fingerprints.
